The D Zone will be covering this PSL City Championship game on Friday night at 7:30 pm. The Technicians of Cass Tech are the #1 ranked team in the state and the King Crusaders are ranked #3 in the state. This week 9 game is key for both teams, but it won't impact either teams playoff path as King and Cass have clinched playoff births and Cass will be D1 and King will be in D3 or D2. King won vs. Cass Tech last year in week 8, 17-7. In 2016 Cass Tech beat King 41-20 for the City Championship. This game will be at Renaissance High School.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Cass Tech:

2019 RB Jaren Mangham - #5 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Colorado commit. Part of a lethal two headed monster with Lew Nichols.

2019 QB/S Jalen Graham - #26 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Undecided but has plenty of upside still despite 24 offers.

2019 WR/CB Kyron McKinnie-Harper - #29 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Central Michigan commit. Always has a knack for making plays.

2019 RB Lewis Nichols - #41 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Central Michigan commit. A traditional 1-cut/every down type back, will have opportunity to show that at CMU.

2019 WR/S Ormondell Dingle - #52 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Central Michigan commit. A wide framed ATH who makes plays on both sides of the ball. He had 2 interceptions last week in the PSL semi-final.

2019 OLB Devin Nicholson - #58 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Eastern Michigan commit. Had a huge off-season that he earned multiple offers.

2019 LB/DE James Ester - #60 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Holds Memphis offer. Plays DE at 6'3 220 because team needs him more there but if he stays around the same size, will make for a very versatile OLB prospect.

2019 Slot/KR Jevan Swanigan - #78 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. 6 offers. Swanigan is one of the biggest home run threats in the state.

2019 OLB Marcellus Gaines - #93 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Towson commit. Gaines is an athletic prospect.

2019 OLB Cameron Ingram - #99 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. 5 offers.

2019 OT Allen Jones Jr - Returning starter at 6'5 315 lbs. 4 offers.

2019 WR/S Noah Stamps-Freeman - 6'1 180 lbs playmaker with an absolute knack for making plays. 3 offers.

2019 CB/WR Rico Sims - 4.4 CB with lockdown coverage abilities. Holds a D2 offer already.

2019 DT Jaylen Billings - 6'2 265 lbs with Lawrence Tech offer.

2019 OT/DT Darius Bellamy - Monsterous lineman who moves great, due to be a major breakout.

2020 DE Tremayne Oliver - #32 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2020.

2020 MLB Daniel Wynn - Impressed us in the summer/spring in workouts as a team leader and is fighting like hell for playing time among several senior D1 linebackers.

2020 QB Sebastian Brown - 6'1 165 QB looks to be in a QB platoon with Jalen Graham. Good arm and athletic abilities.

2020 DT Duwayne Legette - Legette is a load to handle and will be a rising prospect for CT.

2021 OC Raheem Anderson II - #4 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2021. 6 offers.

2021 LB Kobe King - #8 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2021. 5 offers.

2021 OT Terrence Enos Jr. - #13 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2021. 6'5 305, impressed us with athletic abilities in basketball in AAU all off-season.

2021 CB Kalen King - 5'9 160 lbs sophomore with an Iowa State offer.

2019 WR Otha Moore is tough as nails, possession receiver who had a early nice reception and fought for yards after carry. Solid blocker as well. Should be getting Division II and NAIA interest.

2019 S Tyler Milliner stepped up for the Technicians when we seen them last in week 1 as he's a solid player with good instincts and tracks the ball fast.

2019 OLB Ke'Shon Parker is a 6'1 210 lbs who added 15 lbs this off-season, looked very solid last we seen him in week 1. Looking for his first offer.

2021 OG Craig Rush is a monster prospect but still moves well and is a fierce competitor, you'll be hearing his name a lot in the future.

2019 Slot Andre Holley is a 5'7 165 lbs Slot receiver who is extremely fast and holds D3 roster spots currently.

Detroit King:

2019 S Marvin Grant - #17 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Purdue commit. Who has shown tremendous range and the ability to hit hard.

2019 WR/OLB Jalen McGaughy - #24 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Northern Illinois commit, recently offered by SEC school, Mizzou McGaughy could be one of the biggest late bloomers which is surprising to say given that he's committed, but missed mostly all of last year so he hasn't been recruited at a high level yet.

2019 CB/WR Ahmad Gardner - #33 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Cincinnati commit. Long and lengthy with superb athleticism.

2019 MLB Rich Miller - #37 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Buffalo commit. One of the best in the state at getting to the ball and hits hard. Very fast athlete which is unfortunately lost in the shuffle due to him being a LB.

2019 QB Dequan Finn - #39 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Central Michigan commit. Finn is another who could see himself move up in the rankings. 6 total touchdowns vs. East St. Louis, IL in week 1 is mind-blowing given how strong of a program ESL is, but Finn has always been a gamer and a dominant player. That week 1 performance only set the tone for what has been an incredible senior season so far.

2019 WR Darrell Wyatt - #70 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Central Michigan commit. A long and rangy receiver who really solidified his routes over the off-season.

2019 OT Deshawn Ingram - #87 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Howard commit. A mauler who moves well and has long strong arms.

2019 CB/WR RayShawn Williams - #95 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2019. Youngstown State commit. Williams is a very fast and aggressive player who has a knack for making plays.

2019 RB Shondel Hardnett - A balanced back at 5'10 and 190 lbs who holds 2 offers. Hardnett is a quiet killer who has really stepped up as a senior to carry the ball and be excellent in pass protection.

2020 WR Rashawn Williams - #7 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2020. 29 offers. Showed he has a strong case of being ranked even higher which is full of good company in the Class of 2020 in Michigan.

2019 WR Dominick Hannah has had a breakout senior for the Crusaders as he's a super fast prospect who has been lethal in the slot for King this year. He's played himself into a priority Division II recruit this year for several programs.

2020 RB Peny Boone - #15 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2020. 16 offers. Boone is a big-bodied and fast RB prospect.

2020 OT Deondre Buford - #20 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2020. 14 offers. Buford is extremely athletic and runs well for 6'5 245 lbs. He's shown the ability to be a dominant player this year.

2020 WR/DB Lemuel Watley - #27 ranked The D Zone prospect in the Class of 2020. 10 offers. Watley is a very dynamic player who has added playing defensive this year to his arsenal. He's a speedster who has shown an ability to make game-changing plays this year.

2021 S Jaylen Reed is an upcoming 5'10 183 lbs prospect who is physical and has wheels. He came into the box and made some nice tackles last we seen him vs. Muskegon in week 2.

2020 DE/OLB Randy Winans is a high-motored and long, pass rusher who can really disrupt an offense.

2019 DT Walt Landers had to step up this year with 2 key transfers on the defensive line and he has done just that for King. Landers is a mauler in the inside.
